Case Reports / Short Communications on Lifestyle Diseases
SEVAMED - a Quarterly Journal on Infectious Disease Research & Lifestyle Diseases, being published from Bioinformatics Centre, MGIMS, Sevagram has entered 18th year of its publication. As Complimentary and Alternative System of Medicine (CAM) is being extensively explored in the management of Lifestyle Diseases and Complications thereon, we feel that studies related to CAM for Lifestyle Diseases will be of interest to SEVAMED readers as well. We propose to include Articles on Research Studies in the form of Short Communication / Case Reports on management of Lifestyle Diseases using Yoga, Meditation, Naturopathy, Ayurveda etc.
Guidelines for Submission
Case Reports / Short Communication articles on novel aspect of Indian Medicine (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Sidhha, Homeopathy (AYUSH) / Complementary & Alternative Medicine / Integrative Medicine and other Traditional / Alternative / Oriental Systems of Medicine / Clinical Research on Medicinal Plants / Herbs, Spices and Pharmaceutical Sciences may be submitted for consideration for publication. Those sending abstracts of published articles may clearly give reference to the journal and date of its publication.
In any of the format type, the contents should not exceed 600 words in the body of text, keywords, tables, figures, legends and references.
Case Report should have original and innovative contents enlightening the applications of Yoga, Meditation, Naturopathy, Ayurveda in the management of Lifestyle Diseases. Contents should have brief summary (100 words), presentation, discussion and references (not more than 6).
Short Communication should have informative and completely self-explanatory Title, Abstract (100 words), Introduction, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgments & References (not more than 6).
