We are happy to announce, launching of six month’s Online Health Informatics Certificate Course for Healthcare Professionals and Paramedical Personnel with graduate qualification.
OHIC - a curricular certification Course designed of six months duration (July – December) to deliver basic concepts in Health Informatics in the form of online training. This Course has been designed by Bioinformatics Centre at Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences in collaboration with Department of Bioinformatics, SVIMS University, Tirupati to meet the needs of Healthcare Professionals and Paramedical Personnel. This Course is concerned with the core concepts on which much of the specialized IT functions of the healthcare sectors are based. |

Health is Wealth and hence everyone should have access and exposure to health information which is growing at a fast pace.

Health informatics with vast information on understanding and management of emerging infectious and life style diseases is becoming important for healthcare administrators, practitioners, paramedical personnel and general public as well to keep abreast with accessible automated health information.

There is growing number of health care professionals (e.g. Physicians, Nurses and Health administrators) desire to enhance their skills and knowledge in Health Informatics.

Online teaching mode will be easily accessible to one and all. One can plan convenient schedule of learning in addition to one‘s own routine professional and job responsibilities. Online distance learning allows them to study whenever and wherever they are.
