Participation in Meetings / Conferences / Symposium

Dr. B. C. Harinath is invited to deliver a Guest Lecture on "Mycobacterial Excretory Secretory-31 (ES-31) Protein with Serine Protease and Lipase Activities – an Immunogen and Drug Target Against TB Infection" in the Second Asian African Congress of Mycobacteriology to be held in Isfahan, Iran during February 25-28, 2017.

Dr. MVR Reddy

  • Participated in the symposium on “Neuro-degenerative Diseases” and delivered lecture on the topic “Inflammation and Immune Interaction in Neurodegeneration” at the 14th Asia Specific Federation For Clinical Biochemistry and Laboratory Medicine Congress (APFCB Congress 2016) held at Taipei, Taiwan during November 26 – 29, 2016.
  • Attended the APFCB Executive Council meeting during the 14th APFCB Congress 2016 in Taipei, Taiwan on 26th November 2016.
  • As the Secretary of the APFCB Communications Committee and web editor for the APFCB website, participated in the APFCB Communications Committee meeting in 14th APFCB Congress 2016 on 27th November 2016.

  • Attended Workshop on "Big Data Biotechnology and Bioinformatics: Challenges and Opportunity for India" organized by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) at New Delhi on December 15, 2016.
  • Attended Lab for Life (L4L) Dissemination meeting at Delhi on December 16, 2016

Dr. Kalyan Goswami delivered lecture on “Auto-antibodies and its significance” at CME on “Biochemical basis of immunology” organized by department of biochemistry at MET Hall, JNMC, Sawangi (Meghe), Wardha on December 2, 2016.

Mr. Namdev Togre presented the paper entitled "Immunomodulation by filarial proteins rWbL2 and rBmALT-2 to help in Treatment of ulcerative colitis"  at 10th TROPACON-2016 held at Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education & Research, Puducherry  during November 2 – 6, 2016.           

 Ms. Priyanka Bhoj presented a poster entitled “Plant polyphenol induced oxidative stress and its therapeutic implication against filarial parasites” at 10th TROPACON-2016 held at Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education & Research, Puducherry, during November 2 – 6, 2016.

  • Mr. Namdev Togre received ‘Best oral Paper Award’ for the paper entitled "Immunomodulation by filarial proteins rWbL2 and rBmALT-2 to help in Treatment of ulcerative colitis" at 10th TROPACON-2016 held at Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education & Research Puducherry, during November 2 – 6, 2016.

AROGYADHAM

Dr. O.P. Gupta and his team conducted Workshop on Diabetes and Yoga Session on December 18, 2016 at Arogyadham. Dr. O.P. Gupta briefed about awareness in public to protect and cure diabetes with the help of diet, yoga and changing from stressed to positive lifestyle. Mr. Chetan Dandade, Yoga Therapist briefed and demonstrated asanas for the management of diabetes. Number of participants attended and got benefited.
